Bradley Arant adds Bussone as associate
Bradley Arant Boult Cummings has added Marc D. Bussone  as an associate with the firm’s employee benefits and executive compensation group.
Previously, Bussone served as an assistant vice president at Aon Hewitt in Atlanta, where he managed a team that provided consulting, implementation and recordkeeping services for defined-contribution and nonqualified retirement plans and welfare programs.

Bussone, who will provide counsel on a broad range of employee benefit and executive compensation matters, is licensed to practice in Tennessee and Georgia and is also a chartered life underwriter and a chartered financial consultant. He holds a J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law and a B.A. from Emory University.
Owen joins Baker Donelson as shareholder
Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz has added Carol Owen as a shareholder and a member of the firm's government regulatory actions group.
Owen joins Baker Donelson's Nashville office and will concentrate her practice in complex litigation and operations/risk management. She has experience in environmental and financial services litigation and has worked with health care companies, manufacturers, financial services providers and waste management companies through complex litigation.
Owen has defended clients in environmental, securities fraud, contract, tort, trade secret and employment disputes in federal and state court and before regulatory agencies. Owen also serves as pro bono counsel to Jane Doe 2 in U.S. v. Adan, a high-profile sex-trafficking prosecution.

A graduate of the Vanderbilt University School of Law, Owen is a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, for which she serves as vice chair of the Complex Commercial Litigation Institute. She is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, as well as the Nashville, Tennessee and American bar associations.
Saint Thomas names McGee as CNO
Saint Thomas Hospital has named Kathy McGee  as chief nursing officer.
McGee has been serving as interim CNO since October 2012. She will work with senior leadership, implementing strategic plans and objectives, while also developing and maintaining patient-centered care initiatives in collaboration with medical staff and hospital nursing staff.
Since joining Saint Thomas Hospital as a staff nurse in 1985, McGee has held various positions, including inpatient and outpatient oncology patient care manager, director of medical surgical areas and director of the outpatient infusion center.
In 2008, McGee was named director of nursing for critical care and in 2011 accepted the role of executive director of cardiac services.
McGee earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee and obtained her master’s from Vanderbilt University. She currently serves on the board of Williamson Medical Center.

MCC welcomes Clippard as communications coordinator
The Nashville Convention Center Authority has added Mary Brette Clippard  as communications coordinator of the Music City Center.
“Mary Brette brings so much organizational skill to her role and will focus on marketing events and developing creative opportunities for the building,” Charles Starks, president and CEO of the MCC, said in a release. “Her professional background lends itself well to the hospitality sector from a communications standpoint.”
In addition to her marketing duties, Clippard will handle internal communications and redevelopment of the MCC website.
Previously, Clippard served on the finance team of Bill Haslam for Governor 2014. Her career also includes stints with U.S. Sen. Bob Corker and a consulting role with the Victory Convention 2012 on behalf of the Republican National Committee.
Clippard received a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a major in marketing communications, and a Master of Business Administration degree, both from the University of Mississippi.
Concept Technology adds pair
Since 2008, Freeman worked as a systems administrator and senior regional technical analyst for ReMedPar, which was bought by Aramark Healthcare Technologies in 2011. While at ReMedPar, he administered hardware, software and networking projects. Freeman also previously worked as help desk support for Barafree Web Design in Ashland City.
Freeman studied information technology at Nashville State Community College, English at Austin Peay State University, and biology at Tennessee Wesleyan College and Maryville College.
“Brandon is a motivated, personable and professional IT specialist with a successful track record of finding solutions and managing projects,” James Fields, Concept Technology president, said in a release. “He also has a lot of customer service experience, which is why he’ll do a great job in the field.”
Before joining Concept Technology, Glascock worked as an instant support technician for Dynamic Edge, at which he provided first-response support to clients, both remotely and onsite, by troubleshooting server and workstation issues. He was also previously the executive assistant at Orbison Productions.
Glascock earned professional certifications in 3D modeling and interactive media from the Center of Digital Imaging Arts at Boston University. He received his bachelor’s degree in English literature and French from the University of Maryland.
“Carter has already been managing daily backup and maintenance needs for local businesses through his previous work in the community. We have no doubt that he will for a natural fit within our team,” Fields said.
