USGBC local chapter announces board
Erik Daugherty  has been elected chairman of the Middle Tennessee chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council.
Daugherty founded home-performance company E3 INNOVATE in 2008 and was the first LEED AP Homes certified professional in Middle Tennessee. He also serves on the board of Trust for the Future and the Energy and Efficiency Weatherization Advisory Board for the Tennessee Housing Development Agency.
Other board members include the following: Kim Shinn, vice chair, (TLC Engineering for Architecture; Stuart Wiston, treasurer (New Wind); Erica Weeks, secretary (greenSTUDIO); and board members David Bailey (Hastings Architecture Associates, LLC), Pat Emory (Spectrum | Emery), Edward Wansing (The Compost Company, LLC), Eric Sheffer (SSRCx, LLC) and Brenda Gadd (Frost, Brown, Todd, LLC).
Zehnder hires marketing specialist
Zehnder Communications Inc. has hired Renee Dunn  as marketing specialist.
Dunn assists with developing new business accounts and oversees Zehnder’s customer relationship management systems.
Prior to joining Zehnder, Dunn worked as a sales manager for San Francisco-based ServiceSource, a global leader in recurring revenue solutions for international software and hardware brands. Dunn’s fields of expertise include health care and technology with a client concentration in Silicon Valley.
Dunn earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communication from the University of Iowa.
New Orleans-based Zehnder is a full-service advertising and public relations agency with a Nashville presence. Dunn will be based in the local office.
UL Workplace Health and Safety unveils new product
Franklin-based UL Workplace Health and Safety has announced a product upgrade with its Occupational Health Manager 7.5, SYSTOC 7.4 and PureSafety 7.0.
“These substantial enhancements to OHM, PureSafety and SYSTOC reflect our commitment to facilitate collaboration between health and safety in order to help our customers create workplaces free of illness and injury,” Bill Grana, president of UL Workplace Health and Safety, said in a release. “Inspired by customer feedback, our advancements are designed to break down barriers to information sharing and streamline processes between health and safety teams.”
DSi Hires 3 New Project Managers
Citing rapid growth and several new large enterprise clients as the driver, electronic discovery company DSi (formerly Document Solutions, Inc.) has hired Daniel Mink  as senior review manager, Abigayle Needham  as review manager and Andrew Kent  as senior project manager.
Mink brings 13 years of project management experience to DSi, including nine years in eDiscovery for Document Technologies Inc. and DiscoveryWorks Global, Inc. For a Fortune 500 client, Mink managed the document collection and processing of electronic data from more than 150 companies.
Needham worked as an attorney for six years before going into project management for Deloitte in 2011. She has trained and coached staff on eDiscovery policies, processes and procedures, and she has worked with clients on all phases of eDiscovery projects.
Kent worked as an attorney in Washington, D.C., Nashville, and Charlotte, N.C., for seven years and has experience with a variety of eDiscovery platforms, including Relativity, Attenex, Clearwell, ADI, KrollOntrack, Concordance and Ringtail. He has also trained employees on these platforms and managed large review projects.
Churchill Mortgage adds employees to Brentwood office
FHA, VA and USDA residential mortgage Provider Churchill Mortgage has added employees to its Brentwood office.
The newcomers include the following: Tamara Hartley as a licensing administrator to support efforts in Brentwood. She brings more than 25 years of financial experience in mortgage, consumer and commercial loans as well as commercial leasing.
With nearly two decades of combined experience in customer service, Ann Nicole Barber and LaShonda Odom join as Brentwood’s newest customer service representative and customer care specialist, respectively.
Blake Fonfara joins as junior financial analyst, while Michelle Barnett and Ian Raffalovich have been hired as marketing assistants and Bryan Swayze has been named a compliance assistant.
