Metro police are trying to identify a man who robbed a South Nashville SunTrust Bank Tuesday afternoon.
The 4310 Nolensville Pike branch was robbed shortly before 1 p.m. by a black man who presented the teller with a robbery demand note saying he was armed.
According to police, the suspect appeared to be in his late 30s and approximately 6 feet tall. He wore a black polo-type shirt with white buttons, dark blue sport coat, blue driver cap, dark pants and brown dress shoes.
He received the money, and the police reported they had not determined his mode of travel or which direction he went.
